Before I redesigned my site, I was ashamed to send people to it. It wasn't organized well, it didn't accurately or effectively explain what I did, who I did it for, or why people should care. And it wasn't a genuine expression of me or my brand.
Finally, after waaay too long (I won't even share for fear that I'll die from sheer embarrassment), I decided to do something about it. I hustled and worked long hours, sometimes long into the night – creeping up on the wee hours of the morning. I was exhausted and spent and never wanted to look at another website again, but I eventually got it done.
